There goes my weekend!!!!

Where have my weekend gone? Why the title you may ask...Well i have been busy since friday till today with different urgent things. I'm in the office right now writing this post, came to office at 5am. Yes you have read it correctly, 5am. Why so early?..and on a lovely sunday? This is why, EPF(KWSP) has just declare their dividend is to be paid out on 21th March which is yesterday. As my company is their vendor doing the software, i'm need to help on statement checking. But just checking on statements won't be that bad and i do have a Sat for me....Well i will talk bout my sat in a bit, today i'm kinda helping my colleagues so i have no really task or responsibility of coming to work..whats more at 5am in the morning. So now i'm just sitting around waiting for everything to complete to be able to go back and catch some sleep. 

Sleep, mmm really lack of it during the past few days. Moving to a new place and rush throught the packing and cleaning up the new place with my housemates. I'm tired as dead at the end of yesterday. 1st woke up about 9am yesterday after sleeping around 2am to pack some stuff  then went to the new place to clean up. The lorry is coming at 4pm to transport our stuff over there. So here is the rush, as my house is really in a mess and onli about and hour to pack up(this rush is due to cleaning earlier) we kinda throw everthing onto the lorry. So after loading and unloading, the whole process is finish around 5-6pm. We went to a kopitiam to have a meal and laze around. We left at about 7pm. I continue my packing and transporting my stuff till about 10pm knowing that im going to work today around 7am. I must really thank my lovely girlfriend for helping me out. But i have to make a few trips oso becoz she misses out on some important stuff. 

I received a msg saying that i need to be in the office at 5am. OMG, 5am....no public transport to take....no choice got to drive....but i don't know the way...so i decided with my girlfriend to have a drive down the KL where EPF main office is located. Make a short call to my colleague for the directions, manage to get to the main office and back save and sound. So the plan was, i drive with my girlfriend so that she can drive the car back. She is gonna need the car during the day. So i reach home at around 12am...take my bath, make my bed and alittle unpacking i went to bed...got to wake up 4am.. Anyway i woke up only at 4.30am so rush to wash up and then off we go. I left my house at 4.45am and reach EPF at 5am. 

So sleeping for about 3 hours and a whole day packing and moving and driving. I'm dead tired now. Thinks this is going to end after i leave office?...No i have to unpack and clean up the old place...the owner had someone coming over at 1.30pm...I can't do much for that, had to leave it to my housemate and my lovely girlfriend. Being in office with nothing much to do but can't leave makes me really tense up. But what can i do, hopefully i can leave soon. So i will end here and continue waiting....and maybe continue ranting some other time... 

Manchester United Heartbreak

It's been a long time i have not been blogging. Maybe been really busy or been full of worries and pressure of work or just being a person or in short plain lazy. But after Manchester United(MU) horror show over the weekend me being a vivid Manchester United fan just have to state my views bout it. I didn't watch the match so maybe i might not be able to state any views correctly. Well lets get to it.

It's the most anticipated match for a while which for the past week was a very important week that will maybe define the season MU gonna have. Winning against Inter gave the team a mental boast. Not much of beating Inter, but a win against Mourinho.  But there are signs of a crack in the well oil machine. Inter hit the post a few times and MU didnt defend really well. 

So playing Liverpool over the weekend was not deem a must win gave but a game that will define how the season will turn out. If mu wins this the EPL title will surely be half way to Old Trafford. Well when the match is approaching i have a bad feeling that liverpool will do a double over mu this season. As i have said i didnt watch the game so im not going to do a minute by minute report. This is just what i think and feel bout the match and both teams. 

I wont be too impress with this liverpool team. To me the most vital player in the liverpool team is Javier Mascherano. Well maybe aot of you will disagree. Torres was vital, Gerrard was great....but to me the vital cog is mascherano. Without him the gerrards the torres wont have any space to cause any damage. Mascherano just close down any space and made vital tackles thats what he does best.

MU was dominating in the early minutes but than let liverpool get a grip of the game. In this part i feel mu wasnt really up to the contest. From then on MU have oredi lost it metally. Just look at poor Vidic who have been really brilliant the whole season. I feel benitez was briliant in his tactics. Torres taking on vidic was a brilliant tactics. Vidic wasnt the fastest of strikers and maybe there are some weaknest. As can be seen, vidic was in two minds when torres stole in and score. From there on vidic is a gonner, he has lost the battle. 

I havnt seen mu players being so weak mentally i seems that fergie wasnt interested in the competition. After liverpool's equalizer i really dont see where is mu next goal gonna come from. MU have any real goal scorer?....Any midfield enforcer?...Berbatov,tevez,rooney?....fletcher?....I dont fault their effords and quality, they are world class and great players but are they really able to control the game or score the goals needed to win this games?. The team is really crying out a mascherano or a torres.

After vidic's red card thats the end of mu's challenge. Is there any fight in them?...What all the talk bout the great team mu is having tis season. Yes they have tremendous strenght in dept more so over their rivals. But do mu really have the best quality to prove a difference in this big games. Mu never really wins all this big games but end up being champions. While is really great to have the last laught but sometimes is also great to have a shout at our rivals, getting one over them. Woundnt it be great?....

Well all hope is not lost, mu still have a game in hand and 4 points lead with only arsenal as one of the so call big four to play against. Also counting that ur rivals still have to play each other thats a real boast that the epl title is ours to lose. But whats more worrying is that how mu is gonna react to this horror show?... 

I still belive mu will win the epl and the FA Cup....but the champions league is anyones guess. Lets hope mu pick up the pieces and start the assault again. After a great run this kind of results will come by as expected. How mu reacts to it is really the hallmarks of champions.

CNY events

Finally after the past 1 week of holiday to celebrate CNY its back to work tomorrow. Now before my holiday ends im going to recap some of the happenings during the past 1 week. I was very eager for the start of the hoildays but at the same time very nervous. I need to fetch most of my girlfrends sisters back together. Im not too close to them so im just worried how will it turn out. So friday comes, can't wait to get back from work. I left work almost at 5.45pm had to go and get some dried meat(bakua/ yok kon). My girlfriend and I went to 1Utama to buy from beh chiang hiang we had to queue up for about 45mins and the dried meat cost a bomb. Alls good then we went home preparing for the trip home the next day.

Drove home at 9am we went to get some starbucks breakfast that cost a bomb again. Fetch her sisters and off we go. Reach Kampar(their hometown) somewhere around 12.30pm had lunch at her house and then toke them to tesco for a little last minute shopping. Guess what, i met my buddies(Justin Ravin and Aaron Ong) in tesco they are doing some Digi event. We chat for quite a while then i send my girlfriend and her brother and sisters home and off i leave for Ipoh. Reach ipoh in 1 hour and in need of rest. Having a gathering with my schoolmates later that nite. At the gathering i met up with alot of long lost friend chat till after 12am. We had it at Oldtown coffee 1t time i have been there thought. Till then i havn't seen my mum kinda miss her.

Sunday was very busy, have to take my mum around and then go to my cousins house for reunion dinner. I can't wait for the meal especially salted vege with duck soup that my grandmother use to make. It tasted really good but have to wait till next year for more of it. 1st day of chinese new year is the same as always. A few family visiting and ang pau collecting. The 2nd day of CNY i thought that i can visit some of my friends but after lunch i receive a bad news. My uncle from the states has just past away in Penang. My mum and i had to go down to penang my 1st time driving up north. i was suppose to go to penang on thursday with my mum and girlfriend to visit my uncles and aunty. Bad start to the Ox year.

My cousins come down from the states and i have to go fetch them at the penang airport. The worst thing is i have to drive my uncle's Unser and driving on penang road for the 1st time. Thursday was the day my uncle's body being taken from the mortuary to a church. That day i was at the church the whole nite with my cousins. The next day my uncles body is being cremated. This few days have been the hardest, my cousin sister toke this the hardest. She was very close to her father my uncle. Couple with the lost of my uncle, we had a new addition to the family. My other cousin sister living in singapore gave birth to a baby gal on the 22th. We can't visit each other though for the time being. Chinese traditions, death can't meet with celebrations. I manage to chat alot with my cousins from america, i found myself not having much problems understand their english, lucky me. 

Yesterday i started on my marathon drive back to KL, leave my aunty's at 8.30 reach ipoh around 10.30. Miss the exit to ipoh had to get out at simpang pulai. After a short rest off i go to Kampar to fetch my gf and had lunch there. Reach my home in PJ at aroudn 3pm plus was raining really heavily. 

Well thats just a short summary of what happens during the past week of CNY holidays. Running around between 3 states and experience alot of things. My uncle's passing reminds me of my dad's. Probably this event explains my anxiet during the week before. But this has make me realize how easy we will lose a close one and more of the way of life. So im going to treasure my close ones more and more from now on. 

Finally going to go back to working life again, hard after a long holiday but i'm going to work with a new resolution and a new aim. Work for the better future and survive this economy breakdown. 

Being more matured

New year has come and gone, have i really improved the past month?...A really good questions to ask myself. As i'm thinking of my new year resolution and going throught all my goals and things to achieve this year, i have come to realize one thing. That i have grown up to be more matured. It's evident in the goals and things i want to achieve. 

Before this all i think about is to own some fancy gadgets or going to japan to enjoy life etc etc....But now i wouldn't say it's gone but my priorities has changes. Those are my least important goals as buiding up a better future, owning a house, surviving the economy crisis and getting the dream lifestyle i after has taken priority. 

This had me reflect on my past actions and decisions that had shown how immature i was a few years back. Now i realize where my mum was coming from all those nagging and concern she showed. I wish i was wise back then, listening to all her advise so that i wouldn't make mistakes...But i'm not ranting now, the past is the past i'm just looking forward.

For the past few months i have been learning alot from a close friend of mine bout human relationship. I'm just glad he came to me for advise on the problems he face. It really make me realize that relationship as a whole is a very complicated thing. No matter it's with a gal that u like or just your best friend. We really need to learn how to communicate and also live with each other. If we can't do that it's really gonna hurt the relationship or friendship that we had. If people mostly think about themselves, disaster is waiting. Likewise, if one is in rage when making a decision...might end up in the losing end. Decisions made in this curcumstances the result will most likely be win lose. Which means your gonna win someones gonna lose. If this happens you have made a bad decision.

Why is this bad your gonna ask since your are the one winning. Lets say for examle, Dr M has urge people to boycott american goods to pressure the americans to stop the fight between Israel and Palestinians. Well if this works then it's gonna save alot of lives but then what's the effect it's gonna have to Malaysians?...How America will react to our actions?.... Most probably it's gonna effect our economy. Is this a win win decision?...Yes, we might achieve our aims but then our decisions has come back to haunt us...Who is in the losing end then?

I hope no matter what decisions you make, it's always along the line of win win....You will realize how it can benefit you one day. This is some thing that i have come to learn from my past experience. I'm complaining less when things are not according to my way or i see somethings that don't meet my expectations. I hope i can continue to grow and always make the right decisons. Hope that everyone can make a better decision in order to make the world a better place....

 

Spending Lavishly

After a hard days work, my dear decided to spend me a hearthy meal. Actually it's her way of releasing stress. Been a very busy week for her not for me though. Well she decided that we go for TGIF for dinner at The Curve. We had frequented this place for the past few months and i love it there every time we visit it. 

We decided we will order as usual she will have the set meals and i have my favourite steak. So we went throught the menu and decided on our meals. We have fried calamaries for starters(from her set meal) then she have Chicken Fingers as Entree and oso Moist Choc Cake for dessert. As for me i'm having Ribeye steak.

I love my Ribeye thought i ordered it medium well this time around but with the wild mushroom sauce it tasted very good. My dear's meal was very nice too, the chicken fingers was tender and nice dip in the special sauce which i believe contains mayo and cheese. What can i say, very good and also to her liking. We down our meals with a glass of Ice Lemon Tea and we share it to save on cost. Not very hygienic though.

Haivng fun....

After stuffing ourself with so much meat and three cups of ice lemon tea(free flow) we can't barely move. Surely can't stuff any more food into our already stuff stomach. But we still have this.....

Choc Moist Cake

Our dessert choc moist cake. This i believe is the biggest we had in TGIF. It didnt taste as good as the ones we had on our last visit, but we still end up finishing most of it. I can't barely move after that and in fact im still very full while writing this post. Well the bill was ahem.....not cheap though but i love the company of my dear and we had a great time....

Gotto go now, gotto think of ways to earn more money so i won't be broke after a meal like this.

Start of a new chapter

After pondering for a few months i have finally enter the blogging world. I really didn't get the idea of blogging but after reading friends blog and as i face more problems i needed a place for me to rant about whatever. So, im gonna blog about my personal interest, happenings and about my life. I hope muster enough intereting topics to share with the world out there as i read more blogs and visit more places. 

Gonna wan to start acheiving my personal goals this year. Been slagging for a very long time and not achieving the things i really should have achived.  Lets us all gambate and work hard for the coming year.  Wish everyone a great year ahead and a very Happy New Year 2009!!! Happy blogging too.
